I have been so unmotivated to do very much I am starting to wonder what is going on. My house is a complete disaster. The kids are running wild. And I'm on the verge of a panic attack. Lifes been a real rollercoaster this past month.
I hope I can start to get things back on track soon because I am NOT going to make it if I stay at this pace.
School is starting for me in two (yes two) weeks. I'm excited, nervous, and scared all at once. It's like any first day of school I had all through elementary and high school. Wondering how everything is going to look. Whether or not I make a complete ass out of myself. You know those normal first day jitters.
I get to go get my books next week. Which I'm super excited about. I have to get a rediculous graphing calculator. $150 for a calculator I will use for 3 classes and then never use again. Ugh. But I have family (Hi Tash!) that MIGHT have one I can use (Did you look yet?) Heehee.
Everyday Wilbur proves to me that he is THE most stubborn, most ornery, cutest baby monkey around. He climbs on EVERYTHING. On a standard day I say "Get Down!" no less than 2.2 million times. I have to physically take him off of tables/desks/chairs no less than 4.6 billion times. I am ready to anounce that he will be the youngest person ever to climb to the top of Mount Everest. In record time.
So obviously he is developing fine. I'm glad because that whole weight thing really scared me. I always prepare for the worst and hope for the best. I did weigh him on our home scale and it said 19.4 lbs. So that would be a # gain in a month and a half. That is a lot more than what he was gaining. Hurray!!
I may or may not be getting a laptop. A very inexpensive one. I'm looking at those little ones that are (or maybe not) for little kids. But it will help me out for school. I might not get it depending on how much money I have left over from my loan and grant. If not maybe next semester. My brother is looking into some dell ones for me. I can get a $70 rebate on. But not sure what is and isn't good for computers. I'm pretty illerate when it comes to them.
That's what computer genius brothers are for.
Life lately has been hectic, crazy and exciting. What a mix! Hopefully things will start to settle down and we can get into a nice flow with school.

I'm anti-consignment shop. The prices in all of the ones I have been in are ridiculous. The local one sells cookbooks for more than I can buy on Amazon (used with shipping) or Ollie's (new).
Once I was in there with my son and he picked up a small toy (a small Fisher Price person or truck) and when I tried to buy it they told me that particular toy wasn't for sale! Whatever. How they make any money, I have no idea. We have plenty of yard sales around here that sell cheap. I'd rather sell all my stuff cheap at a yard sale and get rid of it than wait for a consignment shop to sell a few pieces of it.
This was for another post - how I ended up here, I don't know.
