Well I just threw all the clothes out front on tables and had a yard sale.
I didn't do too bad either. I was going to have it on Thursday and Friday but I sold over half my stuff Thursday and I didn't want to do it anymore.
One of my first customers bought ALL the baby clothes. She wanted everything. I was more than happy to sell it to her. So bye, bye baby clothes.
The same woman bought a bunch more stuff. She ended up spending $50 but she paid me with a hundred. Who the heck takes a hundred to garage sales?!? I had to call my step-dad to come get me some change. Grr...
Another lady came and told me how she buys for disadvantage families and gives them bags of clothes to start out the school year with. I took her number and called her after the sale and gave her the clothes that were left. I would rather the clothes go to someone like that then donate them and not know what they do with them.
All in all I made a little over $100. Not bad considering that almost everything was a quarter.
